Key takeaways
This funded trading program cost calculator adds the fees you enter for evaluation attempts, subscriptions, resets, activation, market data, platforms, withdrawals, and other charges. It shows total cash spent, cash received from payouts, net cash position, and the amount still needed to break even. Every fee starts at zero, so the tool does not assume a firm’s current price, discount, pass rate, payout, or trading result.
How we researched this article
BestProps used document-based research from primary firm sources, checked August 1, 2026. The complete source list, scope, limitations, and commercial-state record appear near the end of this article.
A funded account price shown at checkout is rarely enough to describe your full cash cost. The useful number is the total you may pay across each stage you actually use. Enter the terms from the firm’s current checkout page, agreement, and dashboard instead of relying on an old comparison table.
The calculator below performs transparent arithmetic only. It does not estimate whether you will pass, receive a payout, or make a profit. Use one currency throughout.
Use the funded program cost calculator
Enter only costs that apply to the program and stage you are evaluating. Leave a field at zero when the charge does not apply or is already included elsewhere.
Total cash spent $0.00
Cash received $0.00
Net cash position $0.00
Remaining break-even amount $0.00
Use one currency throughout. Results are arithmetic from your inputs, not a forecast or recommendation.
- Evaluation fee and attempts cover repeated purchases of the same evaluation.
- Subscription fee and months cover recurring evaluation or account charges.
- Reset fee and resets cover optional paid resets.
- Activation fee covers a post-pass or account setup charge.
- Market data and platform fields cover recurring access costs.
- Withdrawal fees cover charges paid when requesting or receiving payouts.
- Other costs can hold a verified charge that does not fit another field.
- Payouts received means cash actually received, not an account balance or requested amount.

Check every trading program cost input
Read the current checkout page and the agreement for the exact program, account size, and stage. A fee that applies during evaluation may stop after passing, while a new activation, data, or platform charge may begin. Promotions can also expire before a renewal or retry.
Avoid counting the same charge twice. If a platform fee already includes market data, enter the combined charge in one field and leave the other at zero. If a fee is refundable only after a stated event, count it as spent until the refund reaches you.
Keep receipts and dated screenshots of the terms you used. That record makes later comparisons and corrections much easier.

Understand the cost calculator formula
The calculator uses this formula:
Total spent = evaluation fee × attempts + subscription fee × months + reset fee × resets + activation fee + market data fee × months + platform fee × months + withdrawal fee × withdrawals + other costs.
Net cash position = payouts received − total spent.
Remaining break-even amount = the larger of total spent − payouts received or zero.
These results are cash-flow arithmetic. They do not include taxes, trading gains or losses outside the program, the value of your time, or the probability of any future result.
Compare funded trading program costs fairly
Create a separate calculation for each program and use the same time horizon. A one-time evaluation and a monthly subscription are not directly comparable unless the subscription months and likely paid stages are entered consistently.
- Minimum-cost case with one attempt and no optional resets.
- Planned case using the number of paid months and retries you are prepared to fund.
- Stop-limit case showing the maximum cash you will spend before walking away.
This is a budgeting exercise, not a prediction. A higher stop limit does not improve the chance of passing. It only makes your personal spending boundary explicit.

Set a funded program spending limit
Decide the maximum personal cash you can lose on fees without affecting rent, debt payments, emergency savings, or ordinary trading capital. Compare the calculator total with that limit before paying.
Program rules can also change your cost exposure. Review the firm's current drawdown rules, minimum trading days, inactivity rules, and payout terms together with its fee schedule. A cheap evaluation may not be a good fit if the rules require a schedule or risk profile you cannot follow.
Know what the cost calculator excludes
The tool does not recommend a firm or account size. It does not model pass probability, expected return, payout approval, slippage, taxes, currency conversion, financing costs, or the opportunity cost of your time.
It also does not verify a price for you. Firm terms can differ by product, account size, stage, location, promotion, and date. Recheck every input at the official source immediately before purchase and again before renewal, activation, or withdrawal.
Funded trading program cost questions
What counts as a funded program cost
Count cash you actually pay for access or account operation, including applicable evaluation, subscription, reset, activation, data, platform, withdrawal, and other documented fees. Keep refundable charges in the total until the refund is received.
Should discounts go into the cost calculator
Enter the amount you will actually pay under the current checkout terms. Do not assume a promotion will still apply to a retry, renewal, activation, or different account.
Should requested payouts count as cash received
No. Enter only payouts that have reached you. A dashboard balance, eligible amount, or submitted request is not received cash.
Can the calculator predict whether a program is worth it
No. It shows cash-flow arithmetic from your inputs. It cannot predict trading performance, rule compliance, pass probability, payout approval, or future firm terms.
Recheck funded program costs before paying
Save the result with the date, program, account size, stage, currency, and official pages you checked. Recalculate whenever a price, discount, rule, account stage, or planned duration changes. The best comparison is the one that uses current terms and a spending limit you will actually follow.
